Oklahoma Court Service provides reliable, professional, integrity-based private service of process statewide for law firms, in-house counsel, independent attorneys, and pro-se litigants. We offer affordable, effective, in-hand delivery of court documents in every county. This Fee Schedule represents our lowest base rate pricing available at the time of booking. Fees for Process Serving

Pro Se Litigants and Private Individuals

Law Firms, Governmental Agencies, and Individual Attorneys

• Proof of Service is Notarized at no additional cost.
• Printing documents up to four (4) pages at no additional cost. Each additional page billed at $.75 per page.
• Standard service time is generally 3-5 days, Monday – Friday, excluding weekends and holidays.
• 25 miles from Cleveland Court House is included in the fee. Additional milage assessed at .50 per mile, rounded up.
• Affidavits are generally processed within 24-48 hours after service is completed.
• Scanning / Emailing documents billed at $.75 per page.
• Road Tolls / Pike Pass fees will be billed to Client at actual cost assessed.
• Standard first class USPS mailing included for Proof of Service. Any other method assessed at actual cost.
• An additional $50 per hour fee (billed at 6-minute increments) may be assessed for service attempts to a Medical Facility, Military Installations, Government Buildings, Detention Facilities, or Indian Reservations based on time required, delays, or difficulty.
• Once a service is booked, the Client is fully responsible for all costs incurred for any service attempt even if service is not effected.
• Additional fees are in addition to base process cost. Please seek information if you are unsure of the cost before booking.
• Service is not guaranteed. Payment is due in advance and covers up to three attempts.
• Rush fees are extra.

Risk Related Fees

Oklahoma Court Service assess an additional fee when the defendant or respondent could pose an increased risk to the Process Server tasked with delivering your court documents in Oklahoma. For the purpose of this Fee Schedule, the following general definitions apply to such persons. Please take this seriously. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Mentally Unstable Person: Is any person who is known to you, or should be reasonably known to you, to have a history of or treatment for mental instability of any kind, or a history of or treatment for alcohol or drug dependency.

High Risk Individual: Is any person who is known to you, or should be reasonably known to you, to be potentially dangerous or has a history of violence whatsoever. This includes anyone who has ever been subject to a protective order, has been arrested or convicted of any misdemeanor or felony crime involving the threat, attempted use, or the use of violence or weapons whatsoever including, but is not limited to, assault, battery, domestic violence, assault on a peace officer or similar crime, resisting arrest, robbery, et cetera.

Consultation Fees

Oklahoma Court Service may be required to pay for assistance or information leading to the whereabouts of named parties subject to service, especially when those parties may be attempting to evade service. In such cases, the Client shall be responsible for reasonable reimbursement of costs deemed necessary to encourage individuals otherwise resistant to offering information or when providing said assistance or information may put them at risk. In addition to actual costs incurred, any time spent by one of our Process Servers engaging such individuals for collaboration shall be billed at $50 per hour (in 6-minute increments).

Skip Tracing

In more difficult cases such as when individuals are attempting to evade service, Oklahoma Court Service may be required to conduct more advanced searches to ascertain the whereabouts of named parties subject to service. Those Skip Tracing services are billed at $75.00 per hour (in 6-minute increments), plus travel and any actual costs incurred, or as may be required or assessed to us by third party services.

Notary Public Fees

• 10 miles from Cleveland Court House is included in the fee. Additional milage assessed at .50 per mile.
• Additional waiting time is billed $10.00 USD per 15-minute increment.
• Last minute cancelations will result in the full fee being assessed once a Notary has been dispatched.

Please note: Actual Notary services are billed below the statutory limit at $3.00 USD per stamp in all cases. Additional costs for travel, waiting periods, or rush services are billed as additional charges separate from Notary fees, but may be reflected as a single charge in the schedule of fees above.

Fees for Document Filing

• We will re-bill for any documents submitted to us incorrectly, resulting in a rejected filing.
• Client is responsible for notifying our office of any filing fees issued by the court.
• Any court fees assessed must be covered by the Client.
• Affidavit of Service will only be issued after payment is secured, and only once effective service has been completed. If service cannot be effected in three attempts per the fee schedule, clients may request additional attempts which incur additional charges. An Affidavit of Attempted Service can be issued upon request, but is not automatic. Fees are not refundable.
